Position: Mid & Senior Oracle Utilities QA, Test & Performance Engineer

The QA & Performance Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end quality assurance, test scenario creation, test execution, automated regression testing, and performance engineering across Oracle Utilities systems (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM, SGG). This candidate will validate functional fixes, cloud release updates, and batch performance throughput.

Duties and Responsibilities

Automated Regression Testing: Design, build, and execute automated regression test suites using frameworks such as Selenium, Test

Sigma, Cucumber, or Java-based scripts. Ensure complete coverage of core M2C and MDM business scenarios to support zero-defect deployments.

Batch Performance Testing & Tuning: Design and execute batch load and stress testing scripts using Load

Runner, JMeter, or Postman. Simulate high-volume billing cycles, IMD meter read ingestion, and usage calculation runs to detect batch bottlenecks and optimize thread allocation.

Test Execution across Lifecycle (SIT/UAT/ORT): Plan and execute test cases across System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Operational Readiness Testing (ORT), Dress Rehearsal, and Post-Deployment Validation/Smoke Testing.

Test Data Management & SQL Querying: Prepare complex test datasets using SQL database queries across Oracle CC&B/C2M/CCS databases. Validate billing calculations, rate components, GL entries, To-Do creation, and meter read VEE statuses.

API & Integration Testing: Perform functional and performance testing on REST/SOAP APIs, middleware interfaces, and web services using Soap

UI, Postman, or automated API testing tools.

Defect Management & Quality Metrics: Log, track, and manage software defects in Jira, Azure DevOps, or HP ALM/Quality Center. Collaborate with development leads to verify fixes and deliver clear SIT/UAT Test Execution Reports.

Qualifications & Skills

Mid-Level: 5–7 years | Senior-Level: 8–15+ years of dedicated testing and performance engineering experience in Oracle Utilities (CC&B, C2M, CCS, MDM).

Direct experience conducting Batch Processing performance testing, batch cycle monitoring, and load testing on utility-scale datasets.

Runner, Load

Runner Enterprise, JMeter).

Strong SQL skills for test data creation, backend verification, and database state checking.

Demonstrated ability to write comprehensive test plans, test cases, defect resolution logs, and summary sign-off reports.

Experience in utility cloud release regression testing (Oracle Cloud releases) and environment validation.

A stable internet connection of at least 5Mbps, with a backup option (pocket WiFi or mobile data)
