Country Financial Accountant (Nordics)

The role of Financial Accountant Nordics will be to functionally overview the general ledger operation for the Nordic entities (Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway) in Shared Service Centre in Manila, Philippines and will support the statutory and tax compliance for these entities. The individual will interact with the accountants of our Service Centre and with stakeholders in other departments. This role will be reporting to the GBS Manager Manila.

Key responsibilities

• Review of monthly, quarterly and annual US GAAP financial closure process
• Main point of contact for statutory audits and external queries for Nordics
• Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly analytical reports
• Manage and comply with other local financial reporting requirements and filings (ie statistical reports, etc.)Handling of US GAAP tax accounting
• Comply with assigned SOX key controls
• Partnering with other functions for further process improvements
• About youA proven track record of accounting skills is required

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
• Good organization, prioritization and time management skills
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills essential
• SAP skills preferred
