Data Scientist

• I. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Scope, build and maintain database effectively to help facilitate modelling, analysis & reporting needs
• Scope and develop relevant new reports & dashboards in a timely manner to track business performance
• Work closely with the Data science managers in construct and test marketing concepts & initiatives by applying advanced analytics techniques
• Reliable and can work independently taking responsibility for own actions and queries whilst demonstrating a consistent work output
• Team player, both supporting and motivating all team members to achieve business objectives and common goals
• Promote a positive team atmosphere under the Company Mission and Beliefs
• II. JOB SPECIFICATIONSEducational Requirement: Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, applied mathematics, engineering, applied science or related discipline
• Experience Requirement:2-3 years experience in data science / machine learning
• Gaming experiences highly regarded but not essential
• Demonstrated success working with large data sets, developing tools for streamlined analysis and creating reports that succinctly summarize complex concepts
• Leadership Skills: Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual thinking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
• Excellent organizational and decision making skills
• Technical Skills: Competent programming skills, including SQL, Python, SAS, R, and depending on the scope of project, text mining or machine learning
• Expertise in a range of data mining, visualization and statistical techniques
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
• Strong understanding of marketing concepts such as customer value cycle, segmentation practices
• Other Qualifications: Read, write, and speak in English
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Highly self-motivated and with interest in the gaming industry
• Able to work flexible schedule and outside the standard work week whenever necessary
• Well-groomed and with professional appearance
• Proficiency in Filipino/Cantonese/Mandarin/Japanese/Korean is an advantage
