POSITION SUMMARY

The Operations Technical Training Supervisor supports the development and execution of technical training programs that build critical skills for engineers, technicians, and direct labors in an electronics manufacturing environment. This role focuses on day‑to‑day training operations, ensuring effective delivery of training, competency development, and compliance with operational, quality, and safety standards.

The supervisor partners closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Human Resources and EHS teams to ensure workforce readiness, improve performance, and support productivity and continuous improvement initiatives. This role reports to the Operations Technical Training Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Execute the technical training plan aligned with the annual training roadmap and business objectives.
• Deliver and facilitate competency‑based technical training (e.g., PCBA, testing, assembly, manufacturing, and maintenance processes).
• Prepare and maintain training materials, work instructions, SOPs, and certification documentation.
• Support onboarding and certification of new hires, including OJT coordination, skill assessments, and the certification process.
• Monitor and update skills matrices, ensuring accurate tracking of workforce competencies and certifications.
• Conduct and/or support competency assessments, re-certifications, and training effectiveness evaluations.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, customer, and internal quality standards (e.g., ISO, IPC, safety requirements).
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams to address skill gaps, production issues, and training needs.
• Supervise technical trainers or line trainers, ensuring consistency and quality of training delivery.
• Track and report training metrics such as training completion, certification rates, and audit readiness.
• Support audits by providing training records, compliance documentation, and evidence of workforce qualification.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning on the production floor.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety and quality policies at all times

QUALITIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or other related course
• minimum of 5 years of experience required in technical training, manufacturing engineering, or related roles in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Technical Training Core tools such as Problem Solving Tool, Statistical Analysis Tools, Lean Manufacturing, and Risk Analysis Tools.
• Knowledge of Quality Management System
• Strong working knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (e.g., SMT, PCBA, testing, assembly, troubleshooting).
• Experience delivering technical training, including OJT, certification programs, and hands-on instruction.
• Familiarity with competency-based training systems, skills matrices, and assessment tools.
• Exposure to quality and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, IPC standards).
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining training compliance records.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage operators, technicians, line leaders, and engineers.
• Willing to work in Rosario, Cavite.
