About the Role

The Mid-Level Full-Stack Web Developer will primarily focus on WordPress development and maintenance, including customization, front-end and back-end development, performance optimization, database management, integrations, security, and technical SEO.

The developer must also be capable of building websites and web solutions from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and other relevant technologies when WordPress is not suitable for the business requirement.

The role will work closely with the Marketing and IT teams to develop and maintain TRG’s digital platforms and may collaborate directly with management and other departments depending on project and business requirements.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, web hosting, and technical SEO, with knowledge of APIs, version control, responsive web design, and modern web development frameworks considered an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites, including themes, plugins, custom features, and integrations.
• Build websites and web solutions from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, and other appropriate technologies when WordPress is not suitable.
• Develop and maintain custom web applications, dashboards, portals, and workflow solutions.
• Handle both front-end and back-end development, ensuring responsive, accessible, and maintainable solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot web hosting, domains, DNS, SSL certificates, Cloudflare, databases, email-related website configurations, and server environments.
• Troubleshoot website, hosting, database, DNS, connectivity, performance, and application issues; identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
• Improve website speed, stability, security, reliability, and overall user experience.
• Implement and maintain technical SEO, including metadata, redirects, canonical URLs, sitemaps, schema, crawlability, and indexability.
• Manage website integrations, APIs, forms, analytics, CRM connections, and third-party services.
• Use Git and follow appropriate development, testing, and production workflows.
• Test websites and features across different devices and browsers before deployment.
• Maintain backups, documentation, system configurations, and basic web security practices.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes, implement solutions, and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with the IT and Marketing teams, and collaborate with management and other departments as required by business needs.
• Manage assigned projects from requirements through deployment, ensuring timely delivery within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and deployment procedures to support knowledge transfer and operational continuity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional web development experience or equivalent hands-on experience, with strong knowledge of WordPress, PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.
• Strong experience in WordPress development, customization, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Ability to build websites from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant technologies.
• Good understanding of responsive web development, UI implementation, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with databases, APIs, third-party integrations, forms, and web-based services.
• Working knowledge of web hosting, domains, DNS, SSL, CDN/caching, Cloudflare, and deployment environments.
• Experience using Git and following basic development, testing, and deployment workflows.
• Working knowledge of technical SEO and website performance, including crawlability, indexability, redirects, canonicals, sitemaps, structured data, and Core Web Vitals.
• Familiarity with at least one modern framework or development platform such as Laravel, React, Next.js, Vue, or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of web security, backups, testing, and quality assurance.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to investigate and resolve unfamiliar technical issues.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and work effectively with IT, Marketing, management, and non-technical teams.
• Experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, HubSpot, CRM, or marketing integrations is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Java

Script-based websites, SEO considerations, and structured data is an advantage.
