Full Stack Developer

We are hiring a Full Stack Developer to take primary, hands-on ownership of continuing development, enhancement, and maintenance of the company's core systems. Important context please read carefully: This is effectively a one-person development role. You will not be joining a large dev team you will be the primary (and likely sole) developer responsible for the ongoing build-out, improvement, and bug-fixing of these systems, reporting directly to the IT Manager/Project Manager. You will have access to GitHub Copilot (VS Code) as a company-provided AI coding assistant to help you work efficiently. However, this is a support tool, not a replacement for your own skills you are expected to understand, review, debug, and be fully accountable for every line of code that goes into production, whether you or Copilot wrote the first draft of it. We are being transparent about this upfront: we need someone who can genuinely reason through architecture, data flow, and bugs independently. Copilot speeds up typing and boilerplate it does not replace judgment, debugging skill, or system understanding. If AI-generated code breaks something in production across 100+ live branches, you need to be able to find and fix it yourself, quickly, without depending on the AI to explain its own mistake. Responsibilities

• Take ownership of ongoing development for RMS (web) and AGMS (mobile), including Inventory Management, Product Data Management, and Product Lifecycle modules.
• Diagnose and fix bugs in a live, in-production system used daily across 100+ branches often under time pressure.
• Design and maintain REST API integrations between the web platform, mobile app, and Firestore backend.
• Manage data modeling and query efficiency in Firestore, particularly around minimizing read costs at scale (~26,000+ SKUs).
• Use GitHub Copilot in VS Code as a productivity aid while independently validating, testing, and understanding any AI-suggested code before it ships.
• Make architectural and technical decisions independently, escalating only genuine ambiguities or business-requirement questions to the Project Manager.
• Maintain documentation sufficient for continuity since you are the primary developer, your code and decisions need to be understandable to others if the team grows later.
• Balance new feature development against stability of existing live modules (we favor incremental, module-by-module improvements over risky big rewrites). Qualifications
• 1–3 years of professional full stack development experience (web + mobile).
• Demonstrable ability to read, debug, and reason about code you did not personally write including code that may be AI-generated, legacy, or written by a previous contractor.
• Solid fundamentals: data structures, API design, state management, async/offline data handling fundamentals that don't depend on an AI assistant to apply.
• Experience with React/TypeScript (web) and a mobile framework (React Native or similar).
• REST API integration experience.
• Familiarity with Firestore or another NoSQL/cloud database.
• Comfortable being the sole owner of a live system self-directed, low need for hand-holding.
• Honest self-awareness about the limits of AI-assisted coding someone who treats Copilot as a tool they supervise, not a shortcut they trust blindly.
• Bonus: prior experience owning a system solo, or in a startup/small-team setting where you were "the developer" for a product. Location: Cubao, Quezon City
