HR ASSOCIATE

We are seeking an HR Associate to join the Human Resources team at BENSON INDUSTRIAL COLD STORAGE INC. This is a full-time position based in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila. As an HR Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of strategic human resources initiatives whilst ensuring compliance with employment regulations and company policies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your HR career within a dynamic industrial organisation, working closely with senior HR professionals to drive operational excellence and employee engagement across the business. What you'll be doing

• Supporting the recruitment and onboarding process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination and new employee orientation
• Maintaining accurate and organised employee records, databases and documentation in compliance with data protection regulations
• Assisting with the administration of employee benefits, including leave management, entitlements tracking and payroll liaison
• Supporting the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures across the organisation
• Coordinating training and development programmes, including scheduling, attendance tracking and programme evaluation
• Assisting with employee relations matters, including grievance documentation and disciplinary process support
• Contributing to HR analytics and reporting to provide insights on workforce metrics and trends
• Supporting workplace compliance initiatives, including occupational health and safety coordination and statutory requirement management
• Providing administrative support to the HR team, including scheduling, correspondence and general office management
• Assisting with the organisation of company events, team-building activities and employee engagement initiatives

What we're looking for

• A secondary or tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
• Proven experience in an HR administrative or HR support role, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of Philippine employment law, labour regulations and compliance

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with the ability to manage databases and HR information systems
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with employees at all levels
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
• Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when maintaining records and processing documentation
• A proactive, collaborative approach to working within a team environment
• Familiarity with HR best practices and current employment trends
