About the role
- Ensures that the Philosophy of Education, the Vision, Mission and Goals of the School are effectively integrated into the daily classroom lessons.
- Creates an atmosphere of acceptance so that students are encouraged to share insights about life and significant experiences on learning rooted in reality.
- Utilizes a variety of student- centered instructional techniques in class.
- Maintains effective classroom management and discipline.
- Attends classes regularly and punctually.
- Evaluates students’ performance based on the department’s grading system with justice complemented by humaneness.
- Prepares and submits at the start or end of school year/semester the necessary curriculum materials for their area such as: Syllabi, Scope and Sequences, Course Outlines, Lesson plans, Evaluation materials/tests Grades and marks
- Coordinates with his/her coordinator/program chairperson and the teachers of his/her grade level.
- Teaches effectively and efficiently
- Constructs well organized course syllabi reflective of new inputs in the field
- Exhibits professional conduct at all times
- Complies with other academic requirements as may be determined by the Subject Area Coordinator/Department Head.
