Backend Engineer (Mid–Senior)

You'll take ownership of backend service modules — design, implementation, and reliability — participate in code reviews, and support mid-level teammates as the team grows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own backend service modules
• Implement API design, data modeling, and error handling
• Participate in code reviews
• Support mid-level teammates as the team grows
• Debug independently across API, database, and logs
• About you4+ years of professional backend development experience
• Node.js (Express / Next.js API routes); TypeScript required
• MySQL or MS SQL required; Redis a plus
• AWS or GCP exposure; GitAble to design and own a service module: API design, data modeling, and error handling
• Able to debug independently across API → database → logs
• Experience participating in code reviews
• Proficient with AI-assisted development tools
• Strong written English for async collaboration with Taiwan HQGitHub profile (or code samples) required with application
