Senior Automation Tester

We are seeking a Senior Automation Tester with strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver using Java and a passion for building robust, scalable test automation frameworks

Work Setup: Full-time; Prob-Regular position; Onsite BGC Office - Mid shift (2pm)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks for web and API testing.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria, and automation coverage.
• Execute automated test suites and analyse results to identify defects and performance issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Implement test reporting and monitoring solutions for visibility of test execution and quality metrics.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation testing.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation with a strong focus on Selenium WebDriver and Java (must have).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns for test automation.
• Experience with test frameworks such as Test

NG or JUnit.

• Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Rest

Assured or similar.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git).
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
