About the role

The Team Leader is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, coaching, and performance management of a team of sales associates. This role ensures the achievement of revenue targets, conversion metrics, productivity goals, and client expectations through effective leadership, sales coaching, and performance optimization. Core Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of sales associates, ensuring achievement of sales quotas, conversion targets, productivity goals, and quality standards. Monitor daily sales performance, pipeline activity, attendance, schedule adherence, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Conduct regular coaching sessions, call reviews, and performance discussions to improve sales effectiveness, objection handling, closing techniques, and customer engagement. Analyze sales performance trends, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement targeted action plans to drive revenue growth. Manage underperformance through structured coaching, development plans, and corrective actions when necessary. Ensure key sales metrics such as conversion rate, revenue attainment, lead-to-sale ratio, average order value, and productivity targets are consistently achieved or exceeded. Serve as a subject matter expert for escalated sales inquiries, complex customer situations, and deal support. Facilitate team meetings, sales huddles, calibration sessions, and strategy discussions to drive engagement and performance. Partner with internal stakeholders and client counterparts to review sales results, market trends, business challenges, and growth opportunities. Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports, forecasts, and business reviews. Drive a high-performance sales culture through recognition programs, motivation initiatives, and continuous development activities. Maintain strong knowledge of products, services, market dynamics, competitor activity, and sales processes. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.2-4 years of Sales Team Lead, Sales Supervisor, or Sales Operations leadership experience strongly preferred. Minimum of 2 years of people leadership experience in a sales environment, preferably within a BPO, contact center, telesales, inside sales, or customer acquisition setting. Proven track record of leading teams that consistently achieve or exceed sales and revenue targets. Strong understanding of sales methodologies, pipeline management, lead conversion strategies, and performance metrics. Demonstrated experience in coaching sales representatives on prospecting, objection handling, negotiation, upselling, cross-selling, and closing techniques. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales reports, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions. High level of technical proficiency and ability to navigate multiple systems and CRM platforms.
