About the role
- Knowledgeable with the product range being offered by LAPP (Lapp and non-Lapp products) in order to provide support to the sales team and its customers.
- Prepares and submits the quotation for the Lapp customers within service level agreement and accurately to achieve the target profit.
- Coordinates with suppliers (Lapp and non-Lapp products) the specifications, technical data sheets, price and delivery lead time to formulate a competitive offer.
- To update the status of quotations on the system to help the Sales Team determine the open opportunities for the company.
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and recommend the necessary support and solution to convert the inquiry into a sales order.
- Coordinates with the customer service team to ensure that the purchase orders received are accurate and within the pricing guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze the products and prices of competitors in the market to improve the strategy of Lapp in order to increase its competitiveness in the market.
- Monitor the factors affecting the cost of Lapp products (Lapp and non-Lapp products), such as the foreign exchange rate, freight cost, duty and brokerage, and copper rate, to determine the impact on the pricing of the products.
Qualifications
- Minimum diploma/degree qualification (technical course or bachelor’s degree)
- Good communication (spoken and written) and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in mathematical analysis and cost computation.
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Office applications
- Must have knowledge in using SAP-ERP and C4C tools.
- Minimum 1 year working experience preferably related to engineering such as Industrial and Building Automation and Renewable energy.
