About the role
Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy; MBA or additional certification preferred.
- At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audit
- Real estate industry experience strongly preferred, including property accounting, lease accounting, or asset management.
- NetSuite experience a plus, particularly in ERP implementation or optimization.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality financial reporting, month-end closings, and reconciliations.
- Demonstrated people management experience, including supervising, mentoring, and developing accounting staff.
- Experience reporting directly to top management and submitting quality accounting reports on a monthly basis.
