About this Role

Servi-Tek of Colorado, LLC is looking for a Bookkeeper / General Accountant to join our accounting team. The position will support the day-to-day accounting operations of STCO and will work extensively with QuickBooks Online Advanced, reconciliations, and Excel-based analysis.

We’re looking for someone enthusiastic, analytical, adaptable, and willing to take ownership of their work, who understands the why behind the numbers, and is willing to investigate issues and suggest practical improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and general accounting activities
• Record and review transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, deposits, and other accounting entries
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Prepare supporting

• Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable monitoring
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets, reports, graphs, analyses, and other data-driven reports.
• Assist with accounting process improvements and documentation
• Work collaboratively with the accounting team and other departments as needed
• Handle additional accounting-related responsibilities as business needs arise

Qualification & Skills

• Proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online; QBO Advanced experience is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
• Proactive, dependable, with sound judgment and a willingness to learn.
• Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, teamwork, and professionalism.

Additional qualifications and experience

• CPA license is highly preferred, but candidates with strong accounting experience and technical skills are encouraged to apply.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• Experience with QBO Advanced, management-level financial reports, multiple entities or locations, dashboards, or process improvement is an advantage.
• Experience working with a remote or distributed accounting team is an advantage.
• Experience using AI tools for research, analysis, reporting, documentation, or workflow improvement is highly preferred.
