About the role

The Hotel Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with corporate, government, and travel trade clients. The role focuses on achieving room, banquet, and overall hotel revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities for rooms, banquets, and hotel services
  • Manage and grow relationships with corporate, government, and travel trade accounts
  • Conduct sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and hotel tours
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, rates, and agreements in line with company policies
  • Coordinate closely with operations, reservations, and revenue teams to ensure smooth execution of bookings and events
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management
  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and sales activities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience in hotel sales or a similar role
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Results-driven with strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and hotel sales or CRM systems
