Manager – Finance & Accounts

CIMET is looking for a Manager - Finance & Accounts to lead financial controllership, reporting, compliance, planning, and analysis across our Australian and Philippine entities. This is a newly created role and the first finance leadership appointment in Manila, offering a unique opportunity to build and shape a finance function from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes. Lead financial reporting, reconciliations, and revenue assurance activities. Manage Philippine statutory, tax, and regulatory compliance. Support Australian entity accounting, reporting, audit, and compliance requirements. Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis. Strengthen internal controls, audit readiness, and risk management frameworks. Build management reporting and partner with business leaders on financial insights. Lead and develop the Manila finance team as it grows.

About you

CPA qualification or equivalent professional accounting certification.6-9 years of post-qualification experience. Proven experience managing full-cycle financial close and reporting. Strong background in controllership, compliance, audits, and financial operations. Experience leading and mentoring finance teams. Advanced Excel, financial modelling, and ERP system expertise. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work closely with teams across the Philippines and Australia.
