About the Role

We are looking for an IT Intern to join our team! This role focuses on providing technical support, assisting with system maintenance, and supporting day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, proactive, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to employees and co-interns on hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and applications.
• Help monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure, including networks and security systems.
• Perform routine troubleshooting and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Support data backup and recovery processes.
• Assist in updating and maintaining IT documentation, inventories, and user guides.
• Help ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the IT Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• Currently a 3rd-year or 4th-year student pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Enrolled in an internship or practicum course as part of academic requirements
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of IT security practices and troubleshooting techniques is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
