Data Engineer

Enable the Data and Analytics team, along with other business units, to easily access, organize and understand data from multiple data sources for faster in-depth analytics and modeling. Key responsibilities

Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery across the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP)Design and maintain data models and schemas that support analytics and reporting needs

• Maintain and update EDP-related data dictionaries and documentation
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in data pipelines and operationalized outputs to ensure reliability and uptime
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes across pipelines
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver data solutions
• Coordinate with IT and business units to ensure data accessibility, security, and usability across the platform

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (PySpark preferred)
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT pipeline design, orchestration, and scheduling tools
• Understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and medallion/layered architecture concepts
• Exposure to data governance, data quality, or metadata management tools is a plus
• Quick to adapt to new technologies, tools, and approaches in data engineering
• Skilled at working within cross-functional teams
• Displays creativity in problem-solving and actively seeks improvements
• Demonstrates strong technical acumen and commitment to high-quality deliverables
