Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Location

Philippines - Hybrid (APAC) Position Responsibilities As the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible to: Analyze business requirements, process flows, user stories and functional specifications for insurance applications (e.g. placement & policy administration, quoting, rating, binding, underwriting, insurer portals) to generate a comprehensive test plan to validate the quality, accuracy, and reliability of Aon insurance applications and related systems as part of the delivery team. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts, developers, product owners, business teams and project managers as part of test planning to ensure complete coverage of feature acceptance criteria and regression scenarios. Execute functional, regression, integration and UAT support testing for new features, enhancements, and defect fixes. Ensure QA adherence to testing standards, quality guidelines and best practices when planning, scheduling, prioritising, tracking test items. Contribute to project planning and provide estimates for QA verification timeline. Support Business teams during User Acceptance Testing. Support Production deployments and verification tasks. Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth, and promoting technical excellence and innovation. Advocate the usage of AI and automation tools for product regression and test data setup to improve QA efficiency and throughput. Enhance CI/CD processes to include automated regression tests by integrating them into pipelines. Position Requirements Technical Skills & Knowledge

Important: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related fields. Proven experience as a software quality assurance tester in the technology industry - minimum 5 years of experience. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, types of testing (functional, non-functional, regression, integration, system, UAT) and SDLC.Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex business & technical requirements, user stories, process flows, and translate them into effective test scenarios with full QA coverage. Hands-on experience with test case design, test execution and defect tracking tools. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Good to have: Test Automation frameworks, scripting and tools

• Proficient in SQL queries for data validation
• MSSQLExperience in automated tests integration to CI/CD cloud pipeline

Azure DevOps Pipelines

Exposure to insurance (eg. placement, policy, claims, underwriting, billing) or the broader financial services systems. Understanding of cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance requirements in regulated environments (e.g. insurance or financial services). Experience working in virtual, distributed teams across multiple countries, using modern collaboration and video‑conferencing tools.
