Graphic Artist

This role involves creating and modifying designs for a wide range of printed materials, preparing customer artwork for production, and ensuring all output meets quality standards and deadlines.

Key responsibilities

Create and modify designs for business cards, flyers, brochures, banners, tarpaulins, posters, stickers, labels, invitations, packaging, and other printed materials

• Prepare customer-provided artwork for printing and make necessary adjustments
• Ensure proper file setup, including dimensions, bleed, margins, resolution, color mode, and other printing

requirements

• Check artwork carefully for spelling, layout, image quality, and design errors before production
• Communicate with customers regarding design requirements, revisions, and approvals when needed
• Coordinate with the printing and production team to ensure accurate output
• Make revisions based on customer or production feedback
• Maintain organized digital files and design templates
• Assist in creating promotional materials and other company graphics when required
• Ensure that all finished artwork meets quality standards and production deadlines

Qualifications

Graduate of Vocational, College, or any related course. Experience in a printing company or production environment is an advantage. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or similar graphic design software. Good eye for detail, layout, typography, and color. Able to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines. Willing to accept revisions and work according to customer specifications. Willing to work overtime when required.
