Linux System Administrator

We are seeking a skilled System Administrator (Linux) to manage, maintain, and optimize our Linux-based infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the availability, security, performance, and reliability of enterprise Linux servers while supporting business-critical applications. This role requires strong technical expertise in Linux administration, troubleshooting, automation, and infrastructure management.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux operating systems (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Rocky Linux, Cent
• OS, Ubuntu, or similar)
• Monitor server performance, system availability, and resource utilization to ensure optimal operation
• Perform routine system maintenance, patching, upgrades, and security hardening
• Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and access controls
• Troubleshoot hardware, operating system, network, and application issues
• Configure and manage web servers, application servers, and related services
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
• Monitor system logs and proactively resolve performance and security issues
• Automate routine administrative tasks using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages

Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-VQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience administering Linux environments
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Cent
• OS, Rocky Linux, or Ubuntu
• Experience with server administration, package management, and performance tuning
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, SSH, FTP, NFS, and firewalls
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-VStrong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
