Head of Finance

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred. At least 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role (preferably in a corporate or educational field). Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to make strategic decisions based on financial data, ensuring the financial health of the school. Key Responsibilities: Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Reporting

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure transparency, efficiency, and informed decision-making. Analyze financial performance data to assess the department’s effectiveness in meeting deadlines and maintaining accuracy while identifying key areas for improvement. Financial Strategy and Alignment with School’s Mission

Ensure that financial strategies align with the school’s mission, vision, and goals, supporting the growth of both academic and extracurricular programs. Collaborate with school leadership and staff to develop and implement financial programs that enhance operational efficiency. Ensure fair and accessible financial resources across departments by creating sustainable financial practices that support long-term growth while fostering a culture of financial literacy and responsibility. Process Optimization and Efficiency

Assess financial processes such as accounts payable, receivable, and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency and compliance. Evaluate financial systems and tools, identifying opportunities for upgrades or automation to improve integration and utilization. Review the finance department's structure and roles to optimize alignment with the school’s objectives and eliminate inefficiencies. Risk Management

Identify financial risks, evaluate their potential impact, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks to ensure financial stability. Training and Development

Assess and improve the current training program for finance staff to ensure continuous development in compliance, performance, and technical skills. Compensation & Benefits: Starting Salary Range: Php 80,000 - Php 90,000HMO Leadership Allowance
