The Sales Department Head is responsible for driving strategic sales growth formulating business development initiatives, and leading the sales organization toward enterprise-level objectives. The role ensures strategy-to-execution alignment while championing organizational agility and commercial excellence. Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Sales Planning
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion. Establish performance metrics, forecast trends, and align sales objectives with company goals.2. Sales Intelligence & Analytics
Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making. Identify opportunities for sales optimization and market growth.3. Business Development
Pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets. Strengthen relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to support business growth.4. Organizational Alignment & Partnerships
Ensure sales initiatives are aligned with company objectives. Represent the sales function in executive and cross-functional engagements.5. Talent Development & Culture
Foster a high-performance sales culture and support leadership development and succession planning. Collaborate with HROD on capability-building initiatives.6. Resource Management
Oversee sales budgets, investment decisions, and resource allocation to maximize ROI.7. Risk Management & Compliance
Monitor market changes, compliance requirements, and business risks, implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.
