About the role
The Esports Content Editor will produce timely and engaging content covering esports, gaming competitions, players, teams, and industry developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Write breaking news, match reports, previews, analysis, and features.
- Monitor major local and international esports competitions.
- Track Filipino esports players and teams.
- Cover live tournaments and breaking developments.
- Research and verify statistics, results, and player information.
- Develop social-friendly esports content.
- Coordinate with video and social media teams.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of professional content writing/editing experience, preferably in esports or gaming.
- Strong understanding of major esports titles and competitions.
- Familiarity with the Philippine esports scene.
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Strong understanding of online gaming communities and trends.
