Intermediate Accountant I AU Experience I Work From Home

We are looking for an experienced Intermediate Accountant with approximately 2–3 years of hands-on Australian accounting and taxation experience to join our growing team. This role is suited to someone who already has a solid grounding in Australian accounting and tax compliance and is comfortable managing routine accounting work with a reasonable level of independence.

responsibilities

• Preparation of company, trust and partnership financial statements
• Preparation of tax returns (individual, partnership, company and trust)
• Reconcile Accounts (banks, loan, other PL and BS accounts etc)
• Maintain the fixed asset register
• Process payroll and superannuation

GST Reconciliation

• Prepare IAS and BAS and payroll tax
• Communication with clients to gather and follow up on the needed information
• Perform other tasks as requested or required

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• CPA is preferred but not required
• At least 2 years of Australian experience (accounting or tax or both)
• Highly experienced in Xero and XPMGood communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Willing to be a long-term contract
