Social Media Manager

Bahay Tahi is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager to help shape and grow our digital presence. This is a freelance, primarily remote role that involves creating meaningful, visually compelling content for our social media platforms. You’ll work closely with the team on content planning, creative direction, campaigns, and day-to-day storytelling. The role requires twice-a-week visits to our Makati office for reporting, alignment, briefings, planning, and quick content shoots.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Planning

• Develop and manage Bahay Tahi’s social media content
• Research relevant topics and content opportunities
• Create content around our pieces, fabrics, craftsmanship, sustainability, and brand stories
• Support social media campaigns, launches, events, and collaborations
• Collaborate with the team on creative briefs, content planning, and execution
• Content Creation & Production
• Create creative concepts for posts, Reels, Stories, and other digital content
• Shoot photo and video content using a smartphone
• Edit photos and videos for posts, Reels, Stories, and other digital content
• Write thoughtful and engaging captions and social media copy
• Maintain a consistent visual and editorial identity
• Performance & Reporting
• Monitor content performance and recommend opportunities for improvement
• Manage post boosting and paid social media promotions
• Report directly to the CEO and provide regular updates on content, plans, and performance

• A naturally creative, enthusiastic, and positive person with a can-do attitude
• Strong interest in sustainability, fashion, design, and Filipino craftsmanship
• Someone who enjoys storytelling and knows how to turn ideas into engaging content
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Comfortable with research, content creation, and social media management
• Able to shoot quality photos and videos using a smartphone
• Able to edit short-form video content

Strong familiarity with Instagram, including Reels, Stories, content formats, engagement, insights, and platform best practices, with working knowledge of other social media platforms

• Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a remote setup
• Open to feedback and collaboration
• A portfolio or previous social media/content creation experience is a plus
