About the role
- Title: Company Nurse
- Working hours: Shifting schedule; Onsite
- Working Location: Pasig City
Responsible for independently managing the Company’s occupational health services, clinic operations, Annual Physical Examination (APE), and HMO administration, while supporting compliance with applicable DOLE Occupational Safety and Health requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Occupational Health & Compliance
- Support HR and the Safety Officer in maintaining compliance with applicable occupational health and OSH requirements.
- Conduct initial nursing assessment and triage of employees presenting with illness or injury.
- Monitor clinic cases, employee health trends, and APE follow-through, and recommend appropriate preventive health actions.
- Maintain required employee health records, clinic documentation, and occupational health reports.
- Identify workplace health concerns and recommend appropriate preventive or corrective measures. Clinic Operations
- Independently manage day-to-day clinic operations, including medicines, supplies, and medical equipment.
- Provide first aid and appropriate nursing intervention and coordinate referral or escalation to physicians, hospitals, or emergency services when necessary.
- Support medical emergency preparedness, employee health education, and health awareness initiatives.APE Administration
- Manage the Annual Physical Examination (APE) process, including scheduling, provider coordination, completion monitoring, results tracking, and follow-up.
- Monitor medical findings requiring employee follow-up while maintaining confidentiality of health information.HMO Administration
- Manage day-to-day HMO administration and employee healthcare concerns.
- Coordinate employee enrollment, updates, availment concerns, referrals, and service issues with the HMO provider.
- Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, and other healthcare providers as needed. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse with a valid PRC license.
- BOSH for Nurses trained/certified.
- Preferably with ACOSH and Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience as an Occupational Health Nurse, Company Nurse, or in a similar corporate healthcare role.
- Experience in independently managing clinic operations, APE administration, HMO coordination, employee health records, and occupational health requirements.
- Working knowledge of Philippine occupational health and OSH requirements.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, coordination, documentation, communication, and confidentiality skills.
