Accountant - Accounts Payable VA | Fully Remote | Work with an Aussie Company$13–15 AUD/hour (approx. ₱560–₱648/hour) | Full-time | 100% Remote

Ready to be the person who keeps an Australian business's books airtight — without leaving home? We're looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to own the AP function for our Australian entities. You'll be the one making sure every supplier gets paid on time, every invoice is coded right, and the payables ledger never has a mess to untangle. This isn't data entry — it's ownership. What you'll actually do: Enter and code supplier invoices daily

• Verify new suppliers and bank details before that first payment goes out
• Reconcile supplier statements every month and chase down discrepancies
• Keep aged payables clean and current
• Prepare payment runs (the Finance Manager signs off — you get it ready to go)
• Own the monthly aged payables report
• Manage the accounts inbox
• Match bank feeds daily across three entities
• Prep balance sheet reconciliation

• Keep finance process docs and filing tidy and current
• What you bring:2+ years in accounts payable, ideally for an Australian business
• Xero — non-negotiable
• Confidence with bank feed matching and supplier statement reconciliation
• Professional-standard written English
• Nice to have: Simpro or similar job/inventory management systems
• Fixed asset register and balance sheet reconciliation experience
• Runs on the board supporting an Australian business remotely
