We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Website Developer to build, maintain, and improve our websites. The role will focus primarily on WordPress development, website performance, security, maintenance, and technical improvements while working closely with the Digital Marketing and Content teams. Responsibilities

Build, maintain, and update WordPress websites, including pages, modules, plugins, themes, and other website components. Ensure websites are secure, fast, mobile-responsive, user-friendly, and functioning properly across devices and browsers. Perform regular website maintenance, updates, backups, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Content teams to support website, content, and SEO initiatives. Publish, format, and optimize website content while ensuring proper structure and usability. Identify and implement website improvements, enhancements, and technical solutions based on business and marketing requirements. Monitor website performance and address technical issues, broken links, errors, and other website-related concerns. Support on-page and technical SEO requirements, including recommendations and implementation where applicable. Manage website integrations, plugins, hosting, domains, and other technical requirements as needed. Maintain proper version control and development practices using tools such as Git. Stay updated on WordPress, web development, website security, SEO, and performance optimization best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred. At least 2 years of experience in WordPress website development and maintenance. Hands-on experience with WordPress, themes, plugins, and page builders such as Elementor or similar tools. Working knowledge of HTML and CSS; basic PHP knowledge is an advantage. Understanding of website security, performance optimization, responsive design, and troubleshooting. Basic to intermediate knowledge of on-page and technical SEO.Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or similar website performance and SEO tools is an advantage. Familiarity with Git/GitHub or other version-control systems. Experience with website hosting, domains, backups, and website deployment is an advantage. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple website tasks and priorities. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with marketing and cross-functional teams. Proactive, adaptable, and willing to continuously learn new technologies and best practices.
