HSE Lead (Registered Nurse)

OCS Philippines is seeking an experienced and compassionate HSE Lead (Registered Nurse) to join our facilities management team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental wellbeing of all occupants within our managed facilities. As HSE Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive health and safety protocols across our portfolio of properties. Your clinical expertise as a registered nurse, combined with your HSE knowledge, will be instrumental in creating a safe and compliant working environment whilst supporting the overall operational excellence of our facilities management services. Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures across all managed facilities
• Conduct regular health and safety risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
• Provide clinical nursing support and emergency medical response services to building occupants and staff
• Manage health and safety training programmes and ensure all relevant personnel are appropriately educated and certified
• Maintain comprehensive health and safety records, incident reports, and documentation in compliance with Philippine regulations
• Conduct workplace inspections and investigations following any incidents or near-misses
• Liaise with external health and safety agencies, regulatory bodies, and medical professionals to ensure compliance
• Develop and execute emergency response and evacuation procedures, including regular drills and testing
• Advise senior management on health and safety matters and recommend improvements to enhance workplace wellbeing
• Monitor occupational health trends and coordinate preventative health initiatives for facility users and staff

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Philippine Nurses Association or equivalent professional body
• Minimum 5 years' post-qualification nursing experience, with at least 2 years in an HSE or occupational health role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine health and safety regulations, including DOLE requirements and building code compliance
• Certification in HSE management or occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18001 or ISO 45001 preferred)
• First Aid and CPR certification with current validity
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Strong organisational and documentation skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and lead initiatives whilst collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to develop practical and sustainable solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HSE management systems
• Preferred experience in facilities management, corporate environments, or large building management operations
