About the role
- Provide first-level application support for operational systems and applications.
- Perform installation, configuration, updating, and maintenance of applications.
- Monitor and perform initial analysis of application errors and incidents.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical team.
- Support systems and applications related to SQL Server, Reporting Services, Pentaho, and Node.js.
- Perform basic database queries and support reporting requirements using SQL Server and Reporting Services.
- Support basic Windows operating system operations and troubleshooting.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of LAN/Wi-Fi network connectivity issues.
- Assist in system testing, application updates, and implementation of new applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and operational reports.
- Support basic video editing using Adobe Premiere and graphic design requirements when needed.
- Coordinate with users and related IT teams to ensure effective resolution of technical issues.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new applications, technologies, and systems according to business needs.
- Work on-site with a roster schedule 70 working days (Monday–Saturday), followed by 14 days of leave and 3 days of travel time (total 17 days off). Annual leave entitlement is provided separately.
Qualifications
- Minimum S1 in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Understanding of Windows Operating System.
- Basic knowledge of LAN/Wi-Fi networking and troubleshooting.
- Experience with application installation, configuration, updating, and maintenance.
- Ability to perform initial analysis of application errors and proper escalation.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript / Node.js.
- Knowledge of Pentaho is a plus.
- Familiar with Adobe Premiere for video editing.
- Basic graphic design skills are an advantage.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Fast learner, adaptable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
