About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to lead the Manila AP and AR team and ensure key finance processes are completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines. The role also provides support to the wider Finance Team through selected month-end reporting activities. Key responsibilities
Lead and support the Manila Real Estate Finance Team, including workload allocation, review of outputs, day-to-day coaching and development of team members, while promoting accountability and consistent finance processes. Work closely with the Financial Controller, the Brisbane Finance Team, Property Managers, Tenants and other stakeholders to resolve AP, AR and related operational matters. Manage team priorities, ensure key deadlines are met and support an orderly handover at the commencement and conclusion of the contract. Assist with month-end close activities relevant to AP and AR, including journals, accruals, reconciliations and supporting

- Prepare or review AP and AR-related balance sheet reconciliations and promptly follow up reconciling items. Provide accurate financial information and supporting documentation to assist the Brisbane Finance Team with month-end reporting. Prepare and import AP- and AR-related journals into MRI, as required, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment runs, supplier and tenant queries, tenant receipts and allocations, outstanding receivables and account reconciliations and escalation of unresolved matters. Oversee bank reconciliations for AP and AR accounts and ensure discrepancies are investigated and resolved promptly. Ensure AP and AR processes comply with company policies, internal controls and applicable accounting requirements. About you
Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on AP and AR experience and at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leader role. Experience in property, funds management or a similar multi-entity environment would be advantageous.A history of improving finance processes and a thorough understanding of control environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, alongside experience with real estate-focused accounting software such as MRI, Nexus, MyBuildings or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop a small team, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in Manila, Australia and other areas of the organisation. Meticulous attention to detail, together with a mature and positive attitude and strong work ethic. Amenable to work full onsite in Ortigas, Pasig.
