Software Developer - On site

NORTH TREND MARKETING CORPORATION is are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in PHP and Laravel Framework to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing web-based applications and internal systems that support the company’s business operations.

Key responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel Framework. Design and implement software solutions that meet technical specifications and business

requirements

• Collaborate with product managers, designers and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency and adherence to best practices
• Document code, technical specifications and development processes for future reference and team collaboration
• Contribute to the optimisation and refactoring of existing code to improve performance and maintainability
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices
• Support the deployment and maintenance of applications in production environments

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. At least 3 years of professional experience in software/web development. Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel Framework. Proficient in MySQL/database management and writing optimized SQL queries. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development. Strong understanding of MVC architecture, object-oriented programming, and software development principles. Experience with Linux/server environments is an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.SAP experience is a plus
