Senior .NET Developer

As a Senior .NET Developer at Aeven, you will work across a diverse range of disciplines, including architecture, systems analysis and design, and user interface engineering, while collaborating closely with colleagues in Denmark. You will receive knowledge transfer for several applications, ranging from simple business systems to complex enterprise and government-facing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Solve complex development challenges and design architecture for medium-complexity solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements and technical specifications, providing sound technical recommendations.
• Define development timelines, effort estimates, and implementation plans.
• Deliver solutions according to agreed requirements, quality standards, and project estimates.
• Review source code, technical documentation, and solution designs.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software defects in a timely manner.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles to deliver high-quality and maintainable code.
• Proactively address scalability, availability, performance, security, and code quality considerations.
• Develop new features while maintaining and enhancing existing applications.
• Adhere to established coding standards and development best practices.
• Actively participate in team planning, delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior developers and support the growth of team members.
• Provide accurate effort estimates for development activities, sprint planning, and specifications.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior developer capacity.
• Strong object-oriented programming (OOP) skills and software design principles.
• Experience designing and developing n-tier, component-based applications, including system architecture, class design, and solution structuring.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing web applications using: C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, SQL
• Experience working with Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
• At least 2 years of experience using LINQ and Lambda Expressions.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft development tools, including: Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, (formerly TFS), Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)
• Experience developing secure web applications, web services, secure token services, and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, responsible, adaptable, and proactive with a positive work attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Scrum methodology.
• Experience working in Agile and Extreme Programming (XP) environments.
• Exposure to OIOSAML authentication frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services and cloud-based application development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Work Schedule

Employees will be expected to adhere to a flexible hybrid work schedule, with a required presence in the office for 2 day per week, allowing for customization of work hours within a specified morning or mid-shift time frame.
