TESDA Cybersecurity Instructor (Part-time) - AMA University

We are seeking a passionate and experienced TESDA Cybersecurity Instructor to join AMA Computer College Inc. in a part-time capacity. Based in Project 8, Quezon City, Metro Manila, this role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of cybersecurity professionals through vocational training. As a TESDA-accredited instructor, you will deliver high-quality technical education aligned with industry standards and government training regulations. This position is crucial in preparing students for successful careers in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity field.

Key responsibilities

Deliver engaging and practical cybersecurity training modules in accordance with TESDA curriculum standards and competency

requirements

• Develop and prepare comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools for cybersecurity courses
• Conduct hands-on laboratory sessions and practical exercises to ensure students gain real-world cybersecurity skills
• Assess student progress through examinations, practical assessments, and projects, maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Provide mentorship and support to students, offering guidance on career pathways in cybersecurity and industry opportunities
• Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices to ensure curriculum relevance
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and the academic team to continuously improve training programs and outcomes
• Maintain a safe and secure learning environment, including proper management of laboratory equipment and systems
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching methodologies and technical knowledge

What we're looking forA valid and current TESDA Training Methodology Level I (TM I) or equivalent vocational teaching qualification in cybersecurity or information technology (Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related IT fields

• Strong technical knowledge in areas such as network security, threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, and security protocols
• Proven experience delivering vocational or technical training to diverse student groups
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner
• A genuine passion for education and commitment to student success and development
• Familiarity with industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications/credentials (such as Comp
• TIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Comp
• TIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)) is highly desirable
• Ability to work flexibly in a part-time capacity and adapt to the college's scheduling
