About the role
Job Summary: The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate, complete and timely financial records acrosstwo related but distinct areas of the business: the private credit management company and itsassociated investment entities, and the principals' family office and personal/trust structures. The roleis central to the smooth day-to-day financial operation of the group, supporting fund reporting andinvestor administration on one side, and personal financial administration on the other. This is a hands-on, detail-critical role suited to an experienced accountant who is comfortable workingacross multiple entities, can manage competing deadlines, and understands the heightened need foraccuracy, discretion and confidentiality inherent in both funds management and family officeenvironments
Key Responsibilities:1. Private Credit Management Company and Fund Vehicles. Process day-to-day transactions for the management company, the fund and any associated SPVs in Xero, including loan drawdowns, repayments, interest accruals and fee transactions. Maintain accurate general ledgers and chart of accounts for each fund-related entity
Reconcile bank accounts, loan/borrower ledgers and investor accounts on a regular basis. Process investor applications, distributions and return of capital in accordance with the fund's constitution, information memorandum and investment management agreement. Support calculation and tracking of interest income, management fees, and expense accruals. Maintain the investor register in Registry Direct. Prepare supporting

s and reconciliations for monthly management accounts. Process accounts payable for management company and fund expenses and monitor accruals and expenses against budget. Maintain records of loan facility drawdowns, undrawn commitments and other cash forecasting inputs. Compile working papers and reconciliations to support the annual audit and tax return preparation
Monitor and report on financial covenants or reporting obligations owed to lenders and investors.2. Family Office
Manage day-to-day transactions for the family office entities in Xero. Process and reconcile bank, credit card and investment account transactions across multiple entities and trusts. Maintain accurate records for personal investment portfolios, property holdings and other family assets. Assist in the preparation of monthly reports for distribution to developers. Track intercompany and related-party loans, ensuring accurate reconciliation and elimination entries. Support budgeting and ongoing expense monitoring for the family office entities
Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors on the preparation of trust, company and personal tax returns. Assist with administrative financial tasks such as insurance renewals, subscription and utility payments, and record-keeping.3. Shared / General
Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledgers and complete month-end and year-end close processes (journals, accruals, prepayments) across all serviced entities. Process monthly payroll and manage staff leave requests and records, including annual, personal and other leave entitlements, ensuring accurate tracking and timely updates to payroll and HR systems
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of BAS/GST returns, payroll tax and other statutory lodgements. Maintain well-organised financial records and documentation in line with the group's record-keeping, privacy and audit requirements. Identify and help implement process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency across accounting workflows. Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting and administrative support to the Finance and Operations Director. Uphold strict confidentiality regarding the financial affairs of the fund, its investors, the family office and related entities at all times5. Qualifications & Experience

A minimum of five years' accounting experience, ideally including exposure to funds management, financial services, professional services or family office / high-net-worth environments. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Xero is essential; familiarity with Registry Direct or other fund administration/investor registry platforms is highly regarded. Experience working across multiple related entities (trusts, companies and special purpose vehicles) and consolidating or reconciling between them.A sound working knowledge of Australian accounting practices, GST/BAS requirements and general statutory compliance obligations. Given the sensitive nature of both fund investor information and the principals' personal financial affairs, this role requires the signing of a confidentiality agreement. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain strict confidentiality at all times, both during and after their engagement, and to comply with the group's privacy, information security and AML/CTF obligations.
