About the role
The Junior Accountant shall be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks and reportorial requirements of the company, its subsidiary companies (inter-companies), and clients, in accordance with applicable accounting standards and principles. The tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintains a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure. Assists in the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for inter-companies and clients. Performs general accounting activities, including recording, reviewing, and reconciling financial transactions. Assists in resolving accounting discrepancies and financial issues. s required for annual financial audits and coordinates with external auditors when necessary. Assists in preparing accounting-related reportorial requirements for government agencies, including BIR, PEZA, BOI, and other regulatory agencies. Performs bank, balance sheet, and inter-company reconciliations. Ensures that accounting records and files are complete, accurate, and properly maintained. Assists in implementing accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy. Coordinates with clients and internal departments regarding accounting-related matters. Performs other accounting and finance-related tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.CPA license holder1–3 years of relevant accounting experience. Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting. Familiarity with BIR tax compliance and Philippine accounting requirements. Experience in bank reconciliation, inter-company transactions, and financial statement preparation is an advantage. Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Good organizational and time-management skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle multiple accounts, entities, and deadlines.
