About the role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Solar) to oversee solar projects executed by third-party contractors. This role focuses on reviewing designs, monitoring project execution, and ensuring issues are identified and resolved early. You will act as the company's technical representative to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Review contractor designs (SLD, layout, BOQ) and ensure accuracy and compliance
- Identify potential issues early and recommend practical solutions
- Monitor project progress and timelines
- Conduct site visits during key phases of installation and ensure quality of workmanship and compliance with
requirements
Coordinate with contractors and clients on project
requirements
- Ensure completeness of project documentation
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Support testing, commissioning, and project turnover
- Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and handover documents
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Licensed preferred)
- At least 4 years' experience in solar or electrical projects
- Experience working with contractors is an advantage
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems and electrical design
- Experience in solar PV design tools such as AutoCAD and PVsyst is an advantage
- Able to review technical drawings and project documents
- Familiar with the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC)Familiar with permitting requirements
