COMPANY NURSE

The Company Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of employees by providing basic medical care, occupational health services, health education, and emergency response. The role ensures compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and supports the company's health and wellness programs.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Health Services

• Provide first aid treatment and basic medical care to employees.
• Assess and manage work-related and non-work-related illnesses and injuries.
• Monitor employees' health conditions and recommend appropriate medical interventions.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee medical records.

Occupational Health Management

• Conduct health assessments and monitor employees' fitness for work.
• Assist in pre-employment, annual, and return-to-work medical examinations.
• Monitor employees with occupational health concerns and coordinate with accredited healthcare providers.

Emergency Response

• Respond promptly to workplace emergencies and accidents.
• Administer first aid and coordinate hospital referrals when necessary.
• Assist in emergency preparedness and evacuation programs.

Health and Wellness Programs

• Develop and implement employee health and wellness initiatives.
• Conduct health education seminars and awareness campaigns.
• Promote preventive healthcare practices and healthy lifestyles.

Compliance and Documentation

• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs, and incident reports.
• Prepare and submit required health-related reports to management and government agencies.

Clinic and Medical Supply Management

• Manage company clinic operations and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Monitor and replenish medicines, medical supplies, and first aid kits.
• Coordinate with suppliers and healthcare service providers.

Coordination and Employee Support

• Coordinate with company physicians, hospitals, and government agencies.
• Assist employees regarding medical benefits, health insurance, and healthcare concerns.
• Support HR and Safety teams in implementing workplace health programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license.
• With training in Occupational Health Nursing (Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training is an advantage).
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
