About the Role

The Network Support Engineer will provide technical support for network infrastructure, connectivity, and system-related concerns across the organization. You will help maintain stable and secure network operations while troubleshooting issues and supporting day-to-day IT infrastructure needs.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically driven, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and eager to build expertise in networking and IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain network infrastructure and connectivity
• Troubleshoot network, hardware, and system-related issues
• Support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks
• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi environments
• Respond to network incidents and support requests promptly
• Assist with network installations, upgrades, and maintenance
• Monitor system performance and network availability
• Support VPN and remote connectivity solutions
• Perform routine system and security updates
• Document network configurations and technical procedures
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers when needed
• Support cybersecurity and network security initiatives
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior engineers
• Maintain accurate technical and operational records
• Assist with IT infrastructure improvement projects

• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and customer support abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, MCSA, or related networking certifications
• Experience with network monitoring and ticketing systems
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
• Familiarity with cloud and remote networking technologies
