About the role

The Healthcare Sales Executive will be responsible for growing the company’s presence within the healthcare market by establishing new business partnerships and strengthening relationships with existing accounts. The role focuses on engaging hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, distributors, and other healthcare organizations to introduce the company’s solutions, generate business opportunities, and support revenue growth. This position requires hands-on field engagement, including client visits, business presentations, prospecting, account follow-ups, and coordination with healthcare decision-makers. The successful candidate will help expand the company’s healthcare network while meeting established sales and activity goals.

Key Responsibilities

Research and prospect potential healthcare accounts and identify opportunities for business expansion. Establish connections with hospitals, pharmacies, clinics, distributors, and other healthcare-related organizations. Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare practitioners, administrators, pharmacy representatives, procurement teams, business owners, and other key decision-makers. Conduct face-to-face client visits and field activities to introduce the company’s solutions and explore potential partnerships. Deliver presentations and explain relevant product or service offerings according to the customer’s requirements. Manage leads from initial contact through follow-up and account development. Engage existing accounts to strengthen relationships, understand their needs, and identify additional business opportunities. Keep track of customer requirements, market demand, account concerns, and potential opportunities within the assigned area. Work closely with clients and internal departments to facilitate inquiries, orders, delivery-related concerns, and other account requirements. Explore potential institutional sales opportunities, including tenders and other healthcare procurement channels. Monitor relevant market developments, competitor activities, pricing, product availability, and customer preferences. Document customer interactions, prospecting activities, account updates, and sales progress accurately. Prepare sales updates, activity reports, and other documentation required by the immediate supervisor. Work toward assigned sales quotas, account acquisition goals, activity metrics, and other performance objectives. Represent the company in business events, healthcare conventions, exhibitions, product presentations, and other approved promotional activities. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams in implementing campaigns, client activities, and other business initiatives. Respond to customer concerns and coordinate with the appropriate internal teams to ensure timely resolution. Provide regular updates to Management regarding pipeline activities, account progress, customer feedback, market opportunities, and challenges. Perform other related responsibilities that may be assigned by Management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in any 4-year course, preferably in Medical, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline. Background in medical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, or B2B sales is an advantage. Previous exposure to field sales, business development, account acquisition, or client relationship management is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. Confident in dealing with healthcare professionals, business owners, procurement representatives, and other decision-makers. Proactive, customer-oriented, and driven to achieve results. Strong prospecting, organization, and follow-through skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Capable of managing tasks independently while working effectively with cross-functional teams. Willing to perform field-based activities and meet clients regularly.
