Job Summary

We are looking for a Mid-Level QA Tester to ensure the quality of our web applications through thorough and well-designed testing. The role will be responsible for test planning, execution, defect reporting, and collaboration with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and user stories to create test scenarios and test cases
• Perform manual functional, regression, exploratory, and negative testing
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence
• Verify fixes and ensure defects are properly closed
• Contribute to test plans, test coverage, and test data preparation
• Validate user stories against acceptance criteria
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives
• Communicate testing progress, issues, and quality risks to the team
• Continuously improve QA practices and share knowledge with other QA team members

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional QA/software testing experience, preferably with web applications
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, and negative testing
• Experience with test case design and defect lifecycle management
• Experience using defect tracking tools such as Jira
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify gaps, ambiguities, and edge cases
• Hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software

Nice to Have

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium or Playwright
• Experience with REST API testing using Postman or Bruno
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
• Experience using AI/LLM tools such as Claude for test design, test data generation, or defect analysis
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification

Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php90,000.00 per month
