Linux and Automation Engineer (DevOps/Platform)

The role focuses on Linux systems, virtualization, containerization, and automation, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable platforms for software delivery.MAIN TASKSDesign, implement, and maintain Linux-based environments

• Manage and optimize virtual environments (KVM) and container platforms (Podman)
• Ensure system security and compliance, including SELinux configuration and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins
• Automate operational and deployment tasks using Python and Bash
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability and efficiency
• Support troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization

REQUIRED

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE

• Strong expertise in Linux system administration
• Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly KVMExperience with containerization tools (Podman preferred)
• Solid understanding of Linux security concepts, especially SELinux
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins or similar)
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python and Bash
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)NICE TO HAVESolid understanding of networking concepts
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Zabbix, Open
• Search, Data Prepper and Fluent Bit. Basic database knowledge, preferably Postgre
• SQLPROFESSIONAL ATTRIBUTESStrong English communication skills. Proactive, curious, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
• Enjoys problem‑solving and working on technically challenging systems
