About the Client

Our client is a US-based aesthetic clinic specializing in cosmetic and aesthetic treatments, with a strong focus on patient safety, quality of care, and exceptional patient experience. The clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support patients with urgent concerns following aesthetic procedures and ensure timely assessment, appropriate intervention, and coordination with the medical team.

Position Overview

The Emergency Triage Nurse is responsible for the prompt assessment and management of patients presenting with urgent or unexpected concerns following aesthetic procedures. This role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm and decisive in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will evaluate the severity of patient concerns, provide appropriate initial interventions, coordinate with physicians and aesthetic providers, and ensure accurate clinical documentation and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

Rapid Assessment and Triage

• Conduct timely assessments of patients presenting with urgent post-procedure concerns, including swelling, bleeding, infection, allergic reactions, and other unexpected symptoms.
• Evaluate patient condition and prioritize cases based on urgency and severity.
• Escalate cases to physicians, surgeons, or other appropriate medical professionals when necessary.
• Monitor and reassess patients as needed to identify changes in condition.

Clinical Intervention and Patient Care

• Provide appropriate first aid, wound care, and other immediate clinical interventions in accordance with established protocols.
• Administer emergency medications when authorized and indicated under clinic protocols.
• Monitor and document vital signs and other relevant clinical findings.
• Assist with urgent in-clinic treatments and interventions, including management of complications associated with aesthetic procedures.

Patient Communication and Education

• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients experiencing discomfort, distress, or uncertainty.
• Explain expected post-procedure symptoms and distinguish these from potential warning signs or complications.
• Provide appropriate guidance on when patients should seek further medical attention.
• Maintain professionalism and composure when handling distressed or anxious patients.

Care Coordination and Documentation

• Coordinate closely with aesthetic providers, physicians, surgeons, and front-office personnel to ensure seamless patient care and appropriate escalation.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive triage records, patient

• Ensure all clinical concerns and interventions are properly documented and communicated to the appropriate medical team.
• Support timely follow-up and continuity of care for patients requiring further assessment or treatment.

Emergency Preparedness and Procedure Support

• Assist aesthetic providers and medical personnel during urgent treatments and procedures, including interventions for complications such as filler-related concerns and hematomas.
• Prepare, check, and maintain emergency kits and essential clinical supplies.
• Help ensure the crash cart and emergency equipment are properly stocked, accessible, and ready for use.
• Follow established emergency response procedures and clinic safety protocols.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the Philippines.
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in aesthetic medicine, emergency room, urgent care, outpatient care, or a similar clinical setting is highly preferred.
• Previous experience supporting BPO voice campaigns, healthcare accounts, or US-based patients/clients is an advantage.
• Willing to work onsite in Cebu City.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with patients.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive when handling urgent or high-pressure situations.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate clinical documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, aesthetic providers, and other healthcare professionals.
