About the role
- Senior Technical Business Analyst (BA/Product Owner)
- Night Shift 9pm-6am
- Hybrid - 3x Onsite per week either in BGC or QC
Must Have
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the P&C insurance industry, with exposure to commercial insurance.
- Skilled in interpreting and working with data models.
- Proficient in developing workflow diagrams.
- Familiar with policy administration systems (Client)
- Comfortable working with rating structures, underwriting workflows, and digital submission processes
Nice to Have
- CPCU, AINS certifications
- Deep Understanding of commercial lines such as General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, and others
- Experience with Guidewire and/or other leading policy admin systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and release planning with internal development teams and external vendors.
- Author and manage high-quality epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and capability matrices.
- Facilitate refinement sessions, product demos, and sprint reviews
- Provide input on project scope, resource planning, and delivery timelines.
- Lead impact analysis for change requests or scope adjustments and communicate trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Ensure effective alignment between business goals, system capabilities, and development execution.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to validate system design and data flows meet product requirements
