About the role

We're looking for a creative and curious Junior UI/UX Designer to join our growing team. This role is open to fresh graduates and recent graduates who are eager to grow their craft in a real-world, fast-moving environment. You'll work on meaningful design problems — from wireframes to polished, developer-ready screens — with mentorship and room to learn along the way.

Responsibilities

Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity screens for web and mobile products Build and maintain UI components using Figma (frames, Auto Layout, variants, styles) Create simple interactive prototypes to communicate design intent Apply responsive design principles across desktop, tablet, and mobile layouts Contribute to and follow established design systems and component libraries Collaborate with developers during handoff — prepare specs, annotate screens, and ensure implementation accuracy Participate in basic UX research activities such as user interviews, usability tests, and persona development Present and explain design decisions clearly to teammates and stakeholders Incorporate feedback iteratively and continuously improve your work Must-Haves UI/UX Fundamentals: Solid grasp of user flows, wireframes, visual hierarchy, spacing, and typography Figma: Comfortable with frames, components, Auto Layout, variants, prototyping, and styles Visual Design: Good eye for alignment, spacing, colour, typography, and consistency UX Thinking: Ability to explain why you designed something — not just how it looks Responsive Design: Understands layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile Design Systems: Basic understanding of components, tokens, and reusable patterns Prototyping: Can create simple interactive prototypes in Figma Attention to Detail: Spots inconsistencies in spacing, typography, and components before anyone else does Nice-to-Have UX Research: Exposure to user interviews, usability testing, personas, and journey maps Handoff: Experience preparing design specs and files for development teams Soft Skills We Value Communication: Can explain design decisions clearly and give/receive feedback well Problem Solving: Can work through an unclear brief instead of waiting for exact instructions Learning Ability: Actively reflects on feedback and continuously improves Qualifications Fresh or recent graduate of any design-related course (Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar) A portfolio showcasing UI/UX work — school projects, personal projects, or freelance work are all welcome
