Finance and Accounting Team Lead

The Finance and Accounting Team Leader supports daily finance activities, prepares financial reports, and helps keep accounting records accurate and organized. You will monitor payments, review financial figures, and work closely with finance colleagues in the Philippines and the UK for an international healthcare organization. Previous experience as a Finance Team Leader is not required. Candidates with relevant finance and accounting experience who are ready to take the next step in their careers are encouraged to apply. What You’ll Do

Prepare monthly financial reports, help update financial forecasts, and track business performance. Review accounting records, check that figures match, investigate discrepancies, and help explain changes in financial results. Raise payment requests for invoices, monitor bank balances, and track payments, including required government payments. Assist with registering new suppliers and coordinate questions about invoices and payments. Serve as a local contact for finance questions, working with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and UK finance colleagues to resolve concerns. Keep financial records and supporting documents complete, accurate, and ready for audits and reviews. Suggest ways to improve daily finance processes and raise issues when additional support is needed. Support the Senior Group Finance Business Partner with reporting requests, finance projects, and system improvements. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance.A strong finance background and analytical skills, including the ability to review figures, identify patterns, and explain findings. Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and comparing actual results against planned figures is preferred. Candidates who are not yet professionally certified are expected to be actively pursuing a professional accounting certification. CPA qualification is not required at the time of hire. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience using finance or accounting systems. Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with local and overseas colleagues. Strong attention to detail, good organization, and the ability to manage priorities and meet reporting deadlines. Readiness to take on team coordination and oversight responsibilities, with a willingness to learn and develop. What You Can Look Forward To
