About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing end-to-end HR operations, compliance, employee support, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities

HR Operations

  • Maintain accurate attendance and timekeeping records through the company's HRIS.
  • Assist the team and department managers with the recruitment process and efforts in the Philippines and Vietnam.
  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes for Philippine and Vietnam-based employees.
  • Maintain accuracy and completeness of all confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Prepare employment-related agreements, documents, notices, and employee communications.
  • Manage end-to-end HR operational tasks to support the department and accomplish ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Compliance & Employee Relations

  • Ensure compliance with Philippine and Vietnam labor laws and government regulations.
  • Prepare and administer employee memos, disciplinary notices, policy updates, and company announcements.
  • Monitor employee compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and standardizing company policies, processes, and SOPs.

Benefits Administration

  • Manage employee benefit enrollments and tracking, including HMO, leaves, incentives, insurance programs, retirement-related benefits, and annual review cycles.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of company events, parties, and retreats.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of benefit-related activities.

Government Compliance (as assigned)

  • Prepare and process accurate monthly remittances and reporting for SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other statutory requirements.
  • Ensure timely submission of all government-mandated reports and documentation.

Payroll Administration (as assigned)

  • Process accurate bi-monthly payroll in compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies.
  • Compute and process overtime, night differential, holiday pay, premium pay, leave conversions, final pay, 13th month pay, tax annualization, and other payroll-related transactions.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure payroll accuracy and confidentiality.

Performance Management

  • Maintain and improve performance management tracking systems for teams across the Philippines and Vietnam.
  • Generate reports and insights to support management decision-making.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting multiple entities or international teams (Philippines, Vietnam, and/or United States). With an existing knowledge of Vietnam labor practices is a plus.
  • Experience creating and improving SOPs, policies, and operational processes.
  • Experience processing end-to-end payroll, including government remittances and statutory compliance.
  • Experience handling end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with evolving responsibilities.
  • Willing to work during Philippine holidays as required by business needs.
  • Amenable to use a time-tracking tool (Hubstaff) and meet the daily attendance and productivity requirements.

Equipment Requirements

  • Must be willing to use their own computer equipment during the probationary period. Company-issued equipment may be provided upon regularization, subject to business needs and approval. Equipment must meet the minimum specs needed for the role (i7 or higher).
  • Must have a reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work (download and upload speeds must be 50 MBPS or higher), along with a backup internet solution (e.g., mobile hotspot, secondary ISP) to minimize disruptions during outages.
