Turn Marketing Strategy Into Work That Gets Results

Our client is a growing Australian technology business operating across the hospitality and digital commerce space, connecting businesses with their customers through a technology-enabled platform. As the business enters an exciting phase of growth, we're looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the execution of its marketing strategy and help drive customer growth, business development and brand performance. This isn't a role where you'll simply create marketing plans and hand them off to someone else. You'll be the person making sure the plan actually gets delivered — coordinating the marketing team, managing campaigns, keeping priorities on track, monitoring performance and making sure different marketing activities work together as one integrated strategy. We're looking for someone who is organised, commercially minded, hands-on and confident leading people. Someone who can move comfortably between strategy and execution, knows how to manage competing priorities, and isn't afraid to hold people accountable for getting things done. What You'll Be Doing

Lead Marketing Execution

  • Own the day-to-day execution of the company's marketing strategy across B2C, B2B, Corporate, Social, Brand and PR.
  • Translate strategy into clear priorities, campaigns and deliverables.
  • Own the integrated marketing calendar and ensure activity is planned, coordinated and delivered on time.
  • Establish a strong operating rhythm across the marketing team, including weekly planning, performance reviews and quarterly planning.
  • Identify and remove blockers so the team can keep moving. Lead & Coordinate the Marketing Team
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, direction and support to the marketing team.
  • Set clear priorities and expectations.
  • Manage workloads and ensure resources are being used effectively.
  • Hold team members accountable for deadlines, quality and agreed outcomes.
  • Create a high-performance environment while maintaining a collaborative and positive team culture. Drive Campaign Delivery
  • Manage the full campaign lifecycle from brief → build → launch → performance review.
  • Ensure campaigns have clear objectives, KPIs, owners and timelines before execution.
  • Work closely with senior marketing leadership to maintain quality standards before campaigns go live.
  • Review campaign performance and ensure learnings are captured and applied to future activity. Own Performance & Reporting
  • Own the monthly marketing performance scorecard and track results against targets.
  • Monitor customer growth, business performance, campaign results and other key marketing metrics.
  • Identify performance gaps early and recommend corrective action.
  • Monitor marketing budgets and ensure spend remains aligned with plan.
  • Provide clear updates, insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Connect Marketing Into One Strategy
  • Ensure B2C, B2B, Corporate, Social and Brand activity doesn't operate in isolation.
  • Coordinate campaigns, always-on activity and seasonal initiatives so they support one another.
  • Identify opportunities for different marketing channels and initiatives to reinforce each other.
  • Keep the customer journey and overall business objectives at the centre of marketing activity. Work Across the Business
  • Partner with senior leadership on marketing priorities and performance.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering and other internal teams to manage dependencies.
  • Coordinate with external partners and stakeholders where required.
  • Keep stakeholders informed and identify potential issues before they become blockers. What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced marketing professional who can lead people, manage execution and understand performance. You'll ideally have:

  • 5–8 years of marketing experience, including experience leading or coordinating a team.
  • Strong experience managing integrated marketing campaigns and calendars.
  • Experience working across both performance and brand marketing.
  • Exposure to B2C, lifecycle/CRM, B2B or customer acquisition marketing.
  • Strong project and program management skills.
  • The confidence to manage deadlines, priorities and accountability without micromanaging.
  • Strong understanding of marketing performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Experience working with budgets, performance reporting and ROI.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • A proactive approach — you see a problem and work toward solving it rather than waiting for someone to tell you what to do.
  • The ability to stay calm and make good decisions when priorities compete. Experience in technology, marketplaces, apps, hospitality, digital commerce or B2B2C environments will be highly regarded. The Person We're Looking For

This role will suit someone who enjoys making things happen. You're probably someone who:

  • Doesn't need to be chased to get things done.
  • Can take a strategy and turn it into a practical plan.
  • Is comfortable managing multiple workstreams at once.
  • Can hold people accountable while still being a good teammate.
  • Uses data to understand whether something is working — not just to produce reports.
  • Spots problems early and takes action.
  • Can work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Is comfortable challenging ideas when you believe there's a better approach.
  • Can move between big-picture thinking and the details needed to get the job done. Most importantly, you're someone who understands that good marketing isn't just about having great ideas — it's about executing those ideas consistently and knowing whether they're delivering results. Why Join This Opportunity? This is an opportunity to join a growing Australian business at an important stage of its expansion. You'll have the opportunity to:
  • Play a key role in scaling a growing Australian technology business.
  • Lead marketing execution across both consumer and B2B growth initiatives.
  • Work across acquisition, retention, brand, social and corporate marketing.
  • Lead and develop a marketing team.
  • Work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Have a direct impact on business growth and customer engagement.
  • Work remotely as part of an Australian-focused team. If you're an experienced marketer who enjoys turning strategy into action, leading people and using data to drive better decisions, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now and tell us why you're the right person for this opportunity
