Data Analyst

Position Summary

The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, validating, analyzing, and interpreting business data to support operational and strategic decisions. This role focuses on monitoring sales performance, inventory levels, stock movement, and store trends to provide actionable insights that improve product availability, increase sales, and optimize inventory management across all stores.

Key Responsibilities Data Collection & Validation

• Gather data from POS, ERP, inventory, and other business systems.
• Validate and clean data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve data issues.

Data Analysis

• Analyze sales performance, stock movement, and inventory turnover across all stores.
• Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving items.
• Identify products that require frequent replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
• Detect overstocked items and recommend inventory balancing strategies.
• Analyze sales trends by store, category, SKU, region, and time period.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions and seasonal sales performance.

Inventory & Sales Optimization

• Monitor stock availability and recommend reorder levels based on sales trends.
• Identify potential stock-out risks and excess inventory.
• Provide recommendations to improve product availability and maximize sales.
• Support purchasing and merchandising teams by providing demand insights and inventory forecasts.
• Analyze branch performance and recommend actions to improve store profitability.

Dashboard & Data Visualization

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Excel, or similar visualization tools.
• Create reports that clearly present KPIs, sales trends, inventory performance, and operational metrics.
• Transform complex datasets into easy-to-understand visual reports for management.
• Automate recurring reports to improve reporting efficiency.

Business Insights & Reporting

• Interpret data and translate findings into practical business recommendations.
• Present weekly and monthly performance reports to management.
• Provide insights that support pricing, stocking, purchasing, and operational decisions.
• Work closely with Operations, Merchandising, Purchasing, Finance, and Store Management to address business needs through data.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
